Clarence W. Rowley, Boston lawyer, represented both William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody and boxing champion John L. Sullivan. Rowley also invested in several mining and oil ventures with Cody, including the High Jinks Gold Mining Company. Rowley was also an investor in the Montezuma Silver Mine Company of Goldfield, Nevada.
